十一届三中全会以来，上海物价管理部门顺应改革开放形势，不断发展壮大。在此情况下，历经八载，编写了《上海市志?综合经济管理分志?物价管理卷（1978—2010年）》一书。全书共分为机构、团体、人员等九个篇章，详细记载了1978年以来上海物价管理的发端、延续、扩充、进展，叙表兼容，内容详实，折射出一条上海物价管理沿革的基本脉络和发展历史，为今人及后人认识上海物价管理工作发展历程，提供了极大方便。 本书由上海市地方志编纂委员会主编。上海市地方志编纂委员会于1986年8月经上海市委批准成立，代表上海市人民政府主管全市地方志的编纂工作。主任委员为董云虎；副主任委员为翁铁慧 、李逸平、朱咏雷、宗明。 名家导读
