This book mainly expounds the basic principles of Criminal Law in China. Based on the theoretical framework of the crime-responsibility-punishment relationship with Chinese characteristics， it explains the basic principles of crime identification， criminal responsibility pursuit， and punishment application from the perspectives of the “four elements” crime establishment system， the generation and realization of criminal responsibility， and the types and execution of criminal punishment. It promotes the discovery of new problems in crime identification， puts forward new views on the crime-responsibility-punishment relationship， and constructs new theories on the realization of criminal responsibility.
