SHANJIXIANG,wasborninBeijingin1954.HereceivedhisdoctoratedegreeinUrbanPlanningandDesignfromtheSchoolofArchitecture,TsinghuaUniversity,andstudiedinJapanfrom1980to1984.AfterhisreturntoChina,Dr.ShanheldseveralpostssuchasdeputydirectorofBeijingMunicipalAdministrationofCityPlanning,directorofBeijingMunicipalAdministrationofCulturalHeritage,directorofBeijingMunicipalCommissionofUrbanPlanning,anddirectoroftheStateAdministrationofCulturalHeritage.SinceJanuaryof2002,Dr.ShanhastakenuppositionsofdirectorofthePalaceMuseum,researcherofthePalaceMuseum,directorofChinaCulturalRelicsAcademy,andvicechairmanofChinaBuildingDecorationAssociation.
ＷANGLIANQI,wasborninJiaxiangcountyofShandongprovince.Hefinishedhissecondaryschooleducationin1966duetotheCulturalRevolution.Then,hestudiedhistoryandliteratureonhisownand becamethestudentofMr.LiQingyunandMr.XuDaxian.Since1979,hehasbeenworkinginthePalaceMuseum.HereceivedMr.Qigong’sguidancewithregardtoancientpaintings,calligraphyandtheevaluationofrubbings.NowheistheresearchfellowofthePalaceMuseum,amemberoftheacademiccommittee,amemberoftheNationalCommitteeofCulturalRelics.WithdecadesofexperienceintheresearchandevaluationworkofancientChinesepaintings,Mr.Wangisacontemporaryexpertintheevaluationofancientcalligraphy,paintingsandrubbings
