《托福考试官方指南：第5版》由托福考试出题方ETS编著，是托福考试官方信息的来源。本书除总体介绍考试内容和备考策略外，还具体讲解四大考试部分（阅读、听力、口语和写作）的题型分类、解题策略、评分细则、考官评语、针对性练习等。提供4套全真模考题，有纸版和DVD光盘模考两种形式。此外，《托福考试官方指南》会不定期地进行改版，向考生展示考试的新变化。本次出版的是第5版，与第4版相比，共增加约100页内容，主要包括增加一套全真模考题；一些细节信息做了微调，包括备考策略、数据统计、题目形式、写作话题、图片，等等。

《托福考试官方指南：第5版》首先概述托福考试信息，包括考试内容、考试流程、考试策略以及评分标准等。然后，分四大部分讲解阅读、听力、口语和写作。每部分都分类介绍考试题型，结合典型例题剖析题目特点并给出解题策略。此外，阅读和听力部分还分别给出6套和5套针对性练习；口语和写作部分分别给出评分细则、回答范例和考官评分意见。*后，提供4套全真模拟题，以两种形式给出纸版和DVD光盘模考软件，供考生自测并熟悉托福实考环境。
